Order and Payment Policy
This policy is a working draft. Purple Pantry Bakery recommends consulting a licensed South Carolina business attorney before relying on any policy language for legal or business decisions.
How Orders Work
Every Purple Pantry Bakery order is made by hand, to order, specifically for you. Because of that, we want to make sure we have everything right before we get started.
Submitting an order form on our website begins the conversation. It does not confirm your order or hold your date. Your order is confirmed when Pam reviews your request, follows up with any questions, agrees on a final price and design, and you complete your deposit payment. Until that deposit is received, your date is not reserved.
Pricing
All prices shown on the website are estimates based on standard sizing and customization levels. Your final price is confirmed in writing before your deposit is collected. Pricing may vary based on the complexity of your design, the number of tiers, specialty ingredients, or rush timeline requests. Pam will never adjust a price after it has been confirmed in writing without your agreement.
Deposit and Payment Schedule
A deposit of 50 percent of the confirmed order total is required to hold your date and begin planning your order. The remaining balance is due in full at or before pickup. Orders will not be released for pickup until the full balance has been received.
Accepted Payment Methods
Purple Pantry Bakery accepts payment through PayPal Goods and Services and Zelle. PayPal Friends and Family is not accepted for any business transaction. When paying by Zelle, please include your name and order date in the memo so your payment can be matched to your order. Cash is accepted at pickup at Pam's discretion.
Order Confirmation
You will receive written confirmation of your order details, agreed design, final price, deposit amount, remaining balance, and pickup date either by email or text message. Please review this confirmation carefully and notify Pam within 24 hours if anything needs to be corrected.
